Belfast Research Trip 2014


Week long research trip to Belfast's major genealogical repositories including:

  • Public Records Office of Northern Ireland (PRONI)

  • General Register Office of Northern Ireland

  • Linen Hall Library

Arrive in Dublin on Sunday for a week of serious research, guided by professional genealogists from the US and Belfast.  You will receive an introduction to the facilities and can then choose to work at the location that best fits your needs.  

Accommodations are at the Premier Inn which is across the street from PRONI.  The other repositories are within walking distance.  

Trip Includes:

  • 6 nights hotel accommodations

  • Breakfast each day

  • On-site research assistance

  • Two hours of pre-trip research assessment

  • Sunday and Friday dinners

Participants are responsible for air and ground transportation.  Travel insurance is strongly recommended and proof of medical coverage is required.

This trip requires a minimum of 12 participants.  Pricing may be adjusted for a smaller group or for changes in the currency.
